Abstract
On January 20, 2015, President Obama announced his intention to launch a Precision Medicine Initiative (PMI) “to bring us closer to curing diseases like cancer and diabetes, and to give all of us access to the personalized information we need to keep ourselves and our families healthier.” Like USA, other countries share the same vision for PMI and have launched its own initiatives to enhance innovation in biomedical research with the ultimate goal of moving the world into an era where medical treatment and prevention can be tailored to each patient.
In this symposium, the speakers will share exciting and highly impactful sciences which have been published in respectful journals or present new breakthroughs covering precision intervention and diagnosis in various diseases. Through the comprehensive studies of speakers, the audience may appreciate and understand the recent advancements in the field of precision medicine.
